Has Resigned Position. - Picton, Jan. 28.--H. D. Cleminson has resigned the office of county road superintendent. For five years Mr. Cleminson has performed the duties of the office with much credit to him- self and benefit to the county. Re- tiring from the wardenship at the end of 1912, he was appointed road superintendent, and has held this on- arous position ever since, Mr. Cleminson has accepted the position of manager of the Dominion Canners' farms. Successful Year's Operation by Hy- land Cheese Factory. Salem, Jan. 26---On Tuesday morning Mrs. A. O. Henesey passed away after a couple of weeks' fll- ness, due to a paralytic stroke, from which she never regained con- sciousness. Deceased, whose mald- en name was Mary M. Terwilligar, was sixty-four years of age. She is survived by her husband and one son, Frederick, also two little grandsons, who have the fullest sympathy of friends and neighbors. Mrs. Henesey was a noble Chris tian character. As a faithful mem- ber of the Methodist church in Sal- em, a member of the Women's Mis- sionary Soefety and other activities of the chureh, 'she will be greatly missed in the community. The funeral was held on Thursday at Salém chureh, the bearers being M. Kemp, A. Parligimént, B. Adams, C. C.
