A, To Have Sports. The Kingston branch of the Great War Veterans' Association is determined to have a share in the sport of the seoson this year. In all probability a big field day will be held during the summer, and 'var- ious branches of sport will be taken up. A football club is to be formed and an effort will be made to "have a G.W.V.A, league organized, to take in Napanee, Gananoque, Brockville, Kingston and other neighbouring branches. Should this be successful, it will ade greatly to the sperting events of tne season. In addition, the G.W.V.A. intends to enter the city football league, should it be formed this year. A baseball club is also proposed, and as there is an ab- undance of material in the associa- tion for a good nine, the veterans look for a successful season. The association intends to stage a numb- er of special events during the sum- mer, all of which will be of great interest to the gener public.
