That the day of the picturesque gypsy caravan, with its covered wag- ons and numerous horses, is past, is evinced by reports!from various parts of eastern Ontario this week, which state that a troupe of the dark-skin- ned wanderers are moving about the country in three large Cadillac cars. They are covering several towns each day, and the usual fortune-tellers navl doubled their business several times over as a consequence. The rear of the cars are packéd to the top with tents, cooking utensils and children. The use of motor cars has excluded the usual horse-trading business which was at one time the chief stock-in-trade of the gypsy. , BTOCR MARKETS.
