Dominion Baseball League, which, it is hoped, will eventually develop into a second Canadian National Baseball League. Sister Mary Audry passed away at the House of Providence on Tuesday after an illness of about two months, She was twenty-one years of age and since the joining the Congregation four 'vears ago had been a student. She was a daughter of the late J. | educated at theNotre Dame Convent, Kingston. Last October she suffered from infl which was followed by pulmonary trouble. As 'a result of the strikes at Liverpool, Kingston music lovers will have an opportunity of listening to the British Grenadier Guards Band on Thursday, Aug. 21st at the Grand Opera House. The Guards, who by consent of His Ma- jesty King George, were engaged to play at the Canadian National Ex- hibition this year, arranged to sail from England about August 12th. The labor difficulties intervened, however, and they were compelled to leave at a much earlier date, 'and as a result will be able to give the con- cert in Kingston before being heard at Toronto.
