It Was supposed that the automobile in which taney were driving was stolen. They stated that they had met a man named Burnside at the Rand- olph hotel, Kingston, and had made an arrangement with him to drive the car to the Queen's hotel in Mont- Teal. Their story was doubted and the Kingston police were asked to enquire about them.
