He served with dis- ction in the South African war; being brigade major of Artillery at the relief of Mafeking, May 1900. In 1914 Col. Lesslie went to France with the R.CG.H.A. and pon his return took charge of the train- ing of the artillery reinforcements. He rendered most valuable service and now retires. Col. Buff Ogilvie has been appoint- ed to succesd Col.
