Monday, October 27th, the | home of Mr. and Mrs. Jomes Derue, Jr., Ardoch, was saddened by the death of their eldest son, Borden. The little fellow who was seven years old, was only ill a few days of pneu- monia, and his death came as a great shock to his many friends. On the previous Thursday he attended school but complained of not feeling wel and gradually grew worse, when on Monday afternoon he passed peace- fully away in spite of all the rhedical aid. Borden was a very bright child and loved by all who knew him, and his passing away filled many hearts with sadness. The funeral was held from St. John's church by the Rev. Mr. Watson.
