Hunters are report. ed to be making quite a harvest of this valuable fur-bearing Canadian builder. Beaver increases rapidly and 'dur- ing the few years that it has been unlawful to take beaver, the wisdom of such prohibition has been shown by a remarkable increase. The fear now is that they may be slaughtered too quickly, If game {wardens do their duty and hone be allowed to trap unless they hold licenses and none be allowed to take more than their licenses calls for, there wil be a heavy revenue to Canada through -- growing sale ot these furs. derson Bros.
