Fell Off German Gun. Already Kingston has suffered a casualty from the German guns in the market square. Three little fel- lows were trying to show their con- tempt for these instruments of war by climbing over them and perform- ing feats of daring. Suddenly one | of the little fellows slipped and in falling cut quite a gash in his foot. His companions assisted him to Aus- tin's drug store where one of the clerks bandaged the foot. Then, assisted by his chums, he limped home, sadly realizing that although the war is over the guns are still, like the people who made them, treacherous. Helping Out Autoists. As a result of the recent rains, portions of the Gananoque road have been put in a very muddy: condition, and traffic has been given quite a setback. - Automobiles have been having quite a time, including 8 num- ber from Kingston, going to the camp at Eastview.
