Take a large cabinet, draw a cur- tain round, give a sweepifg wave of the right arm, say "Presto," release the curtaing and inside the cabinet will be found a woman's boudoir with two pretty women smiling at you. If it is thoght to be impossible, the unbeliever has only to see the performance of the Great Blackstone at the Grand Opera House to be con- vinced. This was only one of scores of marvellous illusions that he car- ried out before a lange audience on Friday eveping and. he delighted everyone with his cleverness, Mr. Blackstone has 'an entirely {new list of tricks on this visit, and some of them are quite incompre- hensible. He is undoubtedly the most skillful magician ever seen in the city. On Friday evening he had the audience screaming With laughter and once when he transformed a tiny rabbit before the eyes of a young- ster, almost as diminutive, into a box of candy and then drew the rab- bit out of space and presented both to the incredulous kiddie, there was a regular riot of merriment, It would be of no use to recount the scores of tricks that he performs but to say the least they are aston- iching. The show is being repeated 'on Saturday afternoon and night, and is well worth while, Auto Still Missing. No trace whatever has been se- cured of the Chevrolet automobile belonging to J.
