He gave chase on foot, but was compelled to hire a horse and rig to bring about a round-up, and the chase cost him $2. REFUSED GLASS OF 'BEER. So Thirsty One Threw Glass Tumbler at Bartender. An interesting case, in which a citizen is charged with assault, will com® before Magistrate Farrell, at the police court on Thursday. The citizen in question was thirsty, and went into a ldcal hotel to get a drink. It is claimed that he did not have the money to pay for his two per cent., and that when the bartender refused to put up a free drink for him he picked up a glass tumbler off the bar and hurled it at the'bartender.
