There is wonderful power in this new blood-food, and every weak, pal- lid person can be quickly nourished back to health that uses it as direct- After each meal, with a sip or two of water, you simply fake two little chocolate-coated tablets, sold in all drug stores under the name of "FER- ROZONE."" The effect is noticeable at once, You feel happier, brighter, more contented. That old-time feeling of weariness departs--you forget your '"'nerves" and no longer get irritable or cross over trifling annoyances. There is a reason for this change and that reason consists of the fact that Ferrozone contains blood-mak- ing materials you can get in no other way. Ferrozone makes the blood tingle iand sing with new vitality. This en- sures lots of nourishment and strength being supplied to every part of the body. No wonder the eyes brighten and the cheeks radiate color and happi- ness: With abundance of strength, a keén appetite, good digestion and plenty of sound slsep--all the result of Ferrozone--you quickly feel as if life held new charms and pleasures. The seat- | ing capacity of the park at Cleveland { is approximately 20,700, while that | of the Chicago White Sox is in the neighborhood of 35,000. The largest number that has gttended a world's | series game at the White Sox was.34,379,.the official attendance. at the fifth game of the series between the White Sox and Cincinnati last year. Thus it is apparent that it will be fmpossible for any of the parks where the coming world series will be play- ed to eclipse for a single game the attendance of 42,620 established at Boston in 1916, and even with the blue ribbon event of baseball being decided in a five out of nine series, the conditions established last year it will be improbable for the parks series between the Red Sox and Giants in 1912 except under unusual conditions and interest. SHUNNED BY TEAMMATES "Sold Out" { If a pennant or a world's cham- | plonship had just been won it would | have been no greater cause for cele- | proach. Within an hour after the | néws broke the "right" fellows of the | Sox team were gathering and start- | ing a celebration that lasted most of | | the night. They gathered in a down- | town restaurant for dinner. They as- | sembled later, with some additional | members, at the apartment of Cap- | tain Eddie Collins, and at midnight, | in Capt. Collins' home, the boys were | still going. It was true that the sus- pension of the eight stars apparemtiy had wrecked all remaining hopes of | a pennant, but a load carried by the | "right" fellows all through this sea- | | son had been lifted and they simply | | had to explode. To begin with, a few | | members of the team suspected or | {had a hunch of big things taking | { Place at the Criminal Court. An au- | | tomobile with some of them, includ- | ing Eddie Collins, Eddie Murphy, | Amos Strunk and Nemo Leibold, | pulled®up a block or two away from | | the building. Sam Pass, friend of the | | players, and witness in the investi. | gation, went to the court room. Im- mediately he learned of the indict- ment and suspension of the seven players now with the team he broke the news to his fellows. Little Nemo Leibold hugged Eddie Collins and Eddie swatted Amos Strunk on the back, and Amos swung his left into Murphy's ribs, and then there was a rush to telephones to notify Ray Schalk and '"'Red" Faber and John Collins and Dick Kerr, and some of the other fellows who had borne the burden all season, The dinner down towns follawed, and the party .was augmented by the pre- sence of Terry and Daly, both of the Cubs, who once were 1ité Sox players. "No one will ever know what we put up with all this summer," one of the party said. "I don't know how we ever get along, I know there were many times when things were about to break into a fight, but it never got that far. Nearly every one of us has not talked with any of those fel- lows except on the field since the season opened. Even during the batt- ing practice our gang stood in one group, waiting a turn to hit, and the other gang had a group of his own. We had to trail along with these fel- lows all summer, and all the time felt that they had thrown us down." GIRL CADDIE "MASTER" OF JOB AT MONTREAL One of the hardest problems faced by the average clubs of Canada is the question of caddies. As a general rule, courses in the larger centres are situated many miles from a city and. it is almost impossible to secure a sufficient supply of boys. Then, too, the ordinary Canadian kiddie does not seem to take kindly to the task Jot carrying a golf bag. He prefers to spend his summer holidays at the swimming hole and playing baseball, instead of adding a dollar or so a day to the family exchequer. Two years ago the Royal Montreal Golf Club introduced as an experiment #1 caddies and at that prominent cliab there are now twenty-six such caddies on the roster. They have proved a great success in every way, 80 much so, in fact, that one of their number, Jennie Meharg, been installed as caddie master, and has complete control of all caddies, both boys and girls. It is the united opinfon of the club officials that Jennie is the best caddie master that the Royal Montreal has ever had. It would not be surprising if clubs throughout Canada the coming sea- son followed in the footsteps of the Royal Montreal, and that in the years to come the bare-footed, freckle- faced boy with his all too great a penchant "for yelling friendly but raucous greetings to a chum across the course, just at the: moment of making a most critical shot, will only be a haunting memory. > THE RULES OF GOLF AGAIN CHANGED Changes in the rules of golf, fram- ed after a consultaion with the Amé- rican, Canadian and South African delegates, this week approved of by the Royal and Ancient Club at St. Andrews Chief of these were: 1. The adoption of a standard ball which corresponds with a ball famil- farly known to ail golfers as the 30. Wt is a fraction of an ounce lighter than the most popular ball, the 31, but the size permitted is the merest fraction less. 4 2. Unification of the penalty for lost ball, ball out of bounds, and un- playable ball. In future this is to be loss of stroke and distance. . Natural Mistake.
