Twenty-five men from Renfrew, all of them skilled mech- anics, are employed building a sea wall to protect some of the summer cottages that were threatened when the water in the lake was raised by the construction of the power dam. Two Months For Bigamy Then Deported. At Belleville, Perry James Ringe, arrested here a few days ago on a charge of bigamy came before Mag- {strate Masson, pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to two months in jail. Ringe is wanted by the immigration authorities, and will no doubt be deported back to England at the completion of his sentence here. It is alleged that he has two wives in England. The third matrimonial experience was in good to eat.
