Elsie Holland, 87 Chatham street, eleven years old, Macdonald school, Madeline Redmond, 258 Johnston etreet, twelve years old, Louise school. Mary Lambert, Ports- mouth, thirteen years old, Ps school. . Anastasia O'Reilly, fourteen years old, Notre Dame convent. The prizes will be mailed to the winners and our only regret is that w could not send one to every boy and girl who wrote a letter. The winners whl be able to help out some little friends and those who aid not {Win a prize will be looked after by _ Santa Claus anyway. All the letters sent in were very good. The points considered wery originality, neatness, composition, length and the spirit of the thought behind the letter. The judges were glad to find that almost every little writer gave a thought to others and especially to poor children, asking Santa Clause to remember them all.
