Samuel 8. Corbett was born in this oity and has spent his whole life Bere. He is therefore in a position to know the needs and wants of the town and of its people. He has sat in the City Council for five years, representing Frontenac jand St. Lawrence Wards. During that time he has served as chairman of the city property committee and as member of the committees of fi- nance, fire and lights, parks, and on the Board of Works. Thus he is familiar with every department of the city's administration. In his inaugural address Alder- man Corbett outlined his attitude on {the various matters at present be- fore the people.
