St. Luke's branch of the W, A. met in the church hall on Tuesday afternoon with a large attendance, for the purpose of hearing the re- port of the W. A. annual held at Na- panee last week. Mrs. S. Green, the delegate, gave a very comprehensive and interesting report, which showed that the Women's Auxiliary is in a prosperous condition. Great interest was taken in the paper by the mem- bers present. At the close of the meeting, ice cream and cake were served, and the members had a very social half hour together. Of course it must be hard to get along without eyes, or ears, or hands or feet, but what surprises us the most is how well some people can get along without any brains.
