One end of the | buliding was used by the ladies who {presented a splendid array of home- made cooking and fancy work. The fancy work was probably one of the best displays seen at any county fairs {in years. The Judges who were call- I= upon to examine this work had a very difficult task in awarding the prizes. During the early part of the after- noon the judges were very busy look- ing over the exoallent showing of horses, cattle, pigs and other live stock. One of the main features of the exhibition was the awarding of the prize for the best single outfit driven by a lady. According to the condflons in this event the horse and buggy must have been in general use previous to the showing. Mrs. Lav- ern Huffman, Moscow, won first prige, and the horse owned by Roy Lamp- kins, Moscow, was awarded second Three exceptionally good horse races were run, consisting of a "Free for AIL" "Classified" and "Green Race." In the "Free for Al" K. L. » owned by Dr, Benson, of took three firsts, while Judge, owned Dy Fred Brown, of Cen- treville, carried off first money in the "Classified Race."
