MUSICIANS' STRIKE OVER. v Theatres Engage Ten Musicians Ine stead of Nineteen, Cut The musiclans' strike which began about a month ago, bas been settled and the artists are dispensing har monious strains in the theatres as usual. The dispute between the Grand Opera House and the musicians re sulted in the management contract- Ing for five musicians daring the season last Saturday. Te Allen theatre has agreed to accept three musiclang and the Strand theatre will have two. The oniginal demand of the union was for seven musicians in the Grand and Allen and five in the Strand. The compromise wag ef- feoted after considerable negotia- tion between the management and the 1 unlon executive, as well gg the quarters' executive. Capt.
