Dorothy Dalton Tomorvw. Dorothy Dalton has always been a favorite in Kingston, particularly when: she appears in a real full blooded out-door picture. She will be the featured star at the Strand Theatre, Thursday, Friday and Sat- urday of this week, in her latest Paramount offering, "The Siren Call." On the same programme will be Round Three of "The Leather Pushers," and Chapter Four of "The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe." The Yukon is a fascinating coun- try. Anything about the life of that | great wilderness is always interest- ing to the larger majority of citizens of Ontario. Dorothy Dalton, a girl who plays red-blooded roles bett:r than many men, is giving a Yukon picture that promises to be as good, "The Flame of The Yukon." It is a story that teems with colorful action and takes the spectator back to the days of the Alaskan gold rush, : Dorothy Dalton is dazsling in her characteristization of a dance hall girl who is torn between two emo- tions--Ilove for a real man who ap- preciates her and duty, to a faith- less husband. David Powell is ideal as the leading man and Edward J. Brady makes a splendid villaln. While the story is being unfolded on the screen some hair-raising stants are introduced. One scene where a canoe goes over a water fall will make you grasp your seat. "The Leather Pushers" has prov en to be an attraction well Worth the price of admission, and as each round is shown it grows in popular- ity. "The Adventures of Robinson make excellent entertaln- ment.
