Pembroke Cottage Hospital Associa- tion the treasurer's report showed receipts, made up of grants, fees and subscriptions from various sources, amounting to $18,743.04, aml ex- penditures of $15,659.54 leaving a balance an hand of $3,083.50. The superintendent's report showed that 488 patients had been treated dur- ing the year ending September 30th There were 31 births in the hospital and 11 deaths; 461 patients were discharged and there were 16 pat- fents in the hospital at the end of September. The report of J. R. Lockhart, treasurer of the extension fund, showed that $88,015.61 has been subscribed to the fund for the new hospital and $59,471.78 of 'this has been paid.
