Huffman, Kincardine, writes that a small flock of wild pigeons spent the greater part of the summer on his old home farm, in the Township of Camden, twenty-four miles north of Kingston, where he was visiting his brother. He saw them daily, and having seen the wild pigeons in the days when the flocks darkened the sun, has no doubt as to their ident!- ty. A Hiker Coming. Frank Jordan, who appears to be a real hiker, and not in name only, and who hails from Portland, Oregon; (on foot), will arrive in Kingston on Saturday from Brockville on the re- turn lap of his journey overland from his home to New York and Norfolk, Virginia and rturn. Peculiar Clauses in Will, In conformity vith a wish express- ed in his will, the body of Samuel 8, Rogers, an eccentric man living at Lisbon, N.Y., opposite Cardinal, was not embalmed and was not buried for a week after his death. Mr. Rog- ers was at one time largely interest- ed in the Cardinal starch works and owned property in that village. One of his hobbies was to. pay the ex- penses of men who desired to take the Keeley cure to rid themselves of the liquor habit.
