Deeronto, Nov. 29.--The herring run which was eo doubtful for some days, has begun and the fishermen now have good hopes. The catches have been mixed as they showed ea number of pike, white fish and trout, but the herrings are coming more numerous and the Government spowners were notified to this effect and are returning to begin spawning operations.
