Johnson, First Company, D.B.G., Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, U.S.A, in which he asks the editor to publish a request for him. This man served for four years in the Canadian army during the war, be- ing attached to the Field Artillery. For four months he was stationed at Kingston, and it seems that he made many friends here, especially among the ladies, and grew to be very fond of the old Limestone City., He was twice wounded during his overseas eervice and was one of the first to enlist, although American born. He is now with the United States Army at the above mentioned ad- dress and according to his letter says: "I wish, by your help, to be- come acquainted with some lady, maiden or widow, to write to and to be friends with as, the truth is I am lonely and lonesome for the friend- ship of & true Christian woman."
