The death occurred at Allen Sta- | tion, on Friday, May 11th, of Wil- | helmina Merle Wood, wife of Isadc N. O'Brien, aged forty-nine years and seven months. Deceased had | 'been In ill health since Jan, 10th, | 11922. Mrs. O'Brien was born a. | | Sydenham on October 5th, 1873, be- | |ing a daughter of .the late Jolm | Wood. She was married to Mr. {O'Brien on November 26th, 1903, and at that time, Mr. O'Brien was employed in the composing room at the British Whig office. Shortly afterwards Mr. O'Brien gave up the printing trade and engaged in rail- way 'work, going to Swdenham, where he learned telegraphy.
