Dr. R. H. Hutchins, a member of the state hospital, Utica, N.Y., who had been attending the medical convention at the Ontario hospital here, returned to his home on Fri- day. Thousands of Tourists Here. The local season for tourist traf- fic by the water routes is about over. During the past summer Kingston was visited by thousands of tourists, who came by steamer, rail and by private autos and yachts. -------- Engagement Announced. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Leslie, Lanark, anpounce the engagement of their daughter, Marion V., to Stanley E. Errett, of Belleville, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Errett, Merrickville. Mec- Creary, Mary Walker and Miss Hose rocks. Death of a Faith Healer, Byron Caldwell, faith healer, died. at Solvay, N.Y., on Oct. 7th. De- ceased was born near Athens some seventy years ago, a son of Stephen Noah Cadwell. He was a carriage maker and a miller at Athens and New Dublin, before going to the United States. He was married to Miss Eliza Ann Sherman, daughter an of the late Aaron Sherman, Athens, | and is survived by his wife and one | daughter, Mrs. L. E. Barnum, and | two sons, Byron B.
