J. O. Crisp. - The deceased lady was a native of Halifax and lived there for the greater part of her early Me. Upbn her marriage to the Rev. Mr. Crisp she {ook up the duties of aiding him dn his work whole-heartedly and will be mourned in several parishes, particularly that of Portsmouth, where her hasband was rector of St. John's Anglican church for over twenty years. By the people of Kingston and Portsmouth she was greately esteemed. Of late years Mrs. Crisp had deen forced 'to relinquish gome of her work and had not been in very good health since the retirement of her husband aboat three years ago. Within the past month an improve- ment had been noted and her sud- den death came in, the nature of a shock to friends and relatives. The funeral is to be held on Fri- day noon at St. James' church at 12.15 o'clock. Interment will take place at Halifax. / GORDON-LEWIS NUPTIALS, At the Home of Mr. and Mrs. Alex- ander Lewis Fermoy. A wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Lewis, Fermoy, Ont. .when their daughter, Margaret, was united in marriage to Henry Lester Girden, Newboro. The ceremony was per- formed by Rev. Mr. Horten, of Westport. The house was very pret- tiy decorated for the occasion, with bells and streamers. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly attired in grey armure cloth, with gloves to match and wore a veil of embroidered silk net, fas- tened with orange blossoms. The bridesmaid, Miss Lieta Gir- den, niece of the groom, was dres- sed in black canton crepe. The groom was supported by Garnel Lewis, nephew of the bride. The groom's gift to the bride was a gold wrist watch, to the brides- maid a gold bracelet, to the grooms. man, a pair of gold cuff links, and! to the pianist, Mrs. Wesley Quian, a 'manicure set. ¥ollowing the ceremony a wed- ding dinner was served.
