PRINCESS STREET CHURCH. Had a Prosperous Year--Increase of $400 In Receipts. Princess street Methodist church held its annual business meeting Tuesday evening. A large attendance of the quarterly board was presen:. The records show that the church has hdd a very prosperous year. The attendance at the church services on Sundays /has been exceptionally good, with the envelope offerings and loose collections totalling $2,775, an increase of nearly $409 over previous years. : E. Fined for Carrying A Concealed Weapon On Wednesday morning, Pro- vincial Constable W. J. Tomlinson, Sharbot Lake, arMved in the city with a young man who was taken before County Magistrate Bradshaw on the charge of carrying a conceal- ed weapon. The young man pleaded gulity to the charge and was allowed his freedom by paying a fine of 35 and costs. The weapon was coc- fiscated. To Hold Union Services. A joint committee of the two churches has made arrangements for the. congregations of Sydenham street Methodist and Chalmers Presbyterian to hold union services | during the months of July and-Aug- ust. During July the joint services will be held in Sydenham street church, the preacher to be Rev. G. A, Brown. During August the ser- vices will be held in Chalmers. Rev. Dr. Bell is leaving for the Old Coun- try at the end of June for two months holidays, blit speakers for the August sérvices will be arrang- ed for by the Sydenham street con- gregation. .
