The Grass Is Excellent--Boys Are Causing Annoyance, a The rugby season is far away, but preparations are none the less under way at the Queen's stadium. The grass presents one of the biggest problems, but Mr. Hyland is glad to report that thé growth this spring is a month aka of last year's. There has been'considerable seeding done and it has taken an excellent hold. The new bleachers erected last fall are being given a coat of slate paint. { The authorities are much troubled with boys who either climb over the walls or break in the doors, and make free with the property inside. A heavy inch pipe used in watering the grass has been bent nearly at right angles. The youngsters also climb over the steelwork of the roof, even out over the track, where a fall would most likely be fatal. The boys have been threatened, and a sharp watch is being kept on them. A rather unusual condition of af- fairs was reported at the Methodist district meeting held here Thursday. A certain church has been closed for some years and permission was ask- ed to sell the property. The minister making the request stated that the organ in the church had disappeared, also the stove, and that he had re- moved the Bible from the church in order to make sure that this would- not also be carried off.
