A feature of the convention was the discussion under Mr. Diamond's leadership of the proposed Immigration Children's Protection Act. By this act provin- cial inspectors will visit and report on immigrant children placed in Ontario homes and such children will not be admitted to the province un- til the inspector has asked for them.
