Hedley, of the Hedley Trans- portation company, has purchased of George Mercier, Clayton, N.Y., the steam houseboat Rowena which he will use for passenger service at Ol- cott Beach. The Rowena was pur- chased by Mr. Mercier during the past year from Joseph Wittman by whom it was used as a private yacht. For several years it was the most beautiful yacht on the St. Lawrence.
