Wilton, Sept. 1.--It is with feel- ings of deepest regret that we are called upon to chronicle the death of Mr. Sim C. Storms, Wilton, who de- parted this life Aug. 3rd, 1924, at the age of forty-six, after an illness of several months.' The deceased was a devoted husband and father, and was esteemed most highly as a friend and neighbor by all who knew him. Being of a bright and genial disposition, he bore his sickness without complaint, putting his trust in the dispensation of Divine Provi- dence, knowing that He does all things well. The funeral was held in the Me- thodist church at Wilton, services conducted by a former pastor of the deceased, Rev. W. D, P. Wilson, of Belleville, assisted by Rev. Soford Dixon, of Odessa, and both pastors testified to the sincere Christian faith of the departed, and the high esteem of the community was appar- ent from the large gathering of friends to pay their last respects. Music was rendered by the choir with which Sim was affiliated for thirty years--always ready to give his musical talents freely mn ald of church work. - A widow and one daughter, Mar- gery, are left to mourn the loss of one who was pearest and dearest to them; also six brothers, Peter J., of Santiago, Cal.,, Robert,' of Water- town, N.Y.; Albert N., of Odessa; John G., of Sydenham; Korah N., of Wilton, and William of Yarker.
