The second day's activities in con- nection with the Children's Week being held in the Sunday schools of the city, took the {form of a motor parade which was held on Taursday afternoon. The children assembled at their different schools, were irad- ed into automobiles, which asl been kindly loaned by members of the congregation, and then went to the city park where the large parade was formed. After reach- Ing the R.M.C., the cars returnad to the city and after tourmg the streets for a short time, want out through Portsmouth up the Mowat road to the Bath Road and then into the city. The children were then taken to their respective schools .where re- freshments were served, All those who took part in the event declared it a great success, and it is certain that it will be repeated next year. The automobiles were very nicely decorated with banners and bunting and made a fine appearance. Most of the autos were so marked that every pemson could tell from which school they came. Children's Week will be continu- ed this evening when a sing-sing and moving picture entertainment will tbe given in the Sunday school hall of Sydenham streét Methodist Sunday school, éommencing at seven o'clock.
