The assessment stands for period of five years, known as the "quinquennial term," unless there are changes of ownership or an in- crease in the number of buildings. In such cases the additions would be assessed without any interferencé with the quinquennial term, On the present rate of taxation, fifty- three mills on the dollar, the set- tlement means that the amount of taxes to be paid to the municipality will be $7,605.50, an increase of $4,631.50 over the former revenue of $3,074 a year, which should ald materially in bringing down the rate of taxation next year. ------------ "BEN" In the Plunketts' Alls dp at the Grand Thursday, Friday Saturday At Findlay Station, Findlay tion, Oct. 25.--The Bell Telephone 'men are erecting a line from Joyceville to Key's corner.
