Death of John McLaughlin, The death occurred Monday at his late home, in the township of Rich- mond, of John McLaughlin, at the advanced age of seventy-eight years. He leaves a widow, three sons and three daugh- | ters. Took No Action. The Picton Library Board asked the council for $300 to buy new books. Prof. Iva Martin urged the matter. The books were in a very poor physical condition and extra grants would be required for sev- eral years to gradually replace the books, which have been allowed to deteriorate for tem years or more.
