It is nothing less than a miracle that some person was not seriously hurt on Thursday morning abou: eleven o'clock when one of the steel poles, iccated in front of the office of the Odd Fellow's Relier Association, and used to support the electric trolley used by the street railway, broke off and fell to the ground. The break occurred just as two street cars were passing along King street getting ready to go on the ten-minute service. The lad was standing in the school yard with one foot betwepn two planks. Another boy, not knowing this, jumped on his back in play. Both fell and in the fall, young Flun- Nh suffered the dislocation of the hip. He was removed (o the hospital where he is being attended by Dr. J. L. Austin.
