Albert Turner, one of Gananoque's sons who won fame and fortune, and who for twenty-five years was a pro- minent resident of Chappaqua, died on April 1st, at the Hotel New Wes- ton, New York City, after a long sickness. He was aged sixty years. Mr. Turner was a Mason. He was an extensive real estate operator and helped greatly in building up Chap- paqua. He was also in the Life In- surance business, and at one time won distinction for writing more life insurance in a year than any other broker in New York state. At one time he was connected with the Northern Westchester Life Insurance Company with his fatber-In-law, J. I. D. Bristol. At different times he was associated with Behjamin and Johns of New York, with the "Sil- ent Partner," a magazine, and part ownér of the Outing Talking Ma- chine Company, of New York. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Nancy Bristol Turnef, and four sons, Al bert, Perry, Boss and Bayne, and a daughter, Miss Helen Turner. Mrs. James Elder and Miss Beaton, King- ston, are cousins.
