A Valuable Conrtibution. Queen's library authorities are very much indebted' to Dr. Lorne Pierce, Toronto, for a valuable con- gribution of old documents pertain- ing to the early history of Canada, and particularly to this province. He has evidently secured some old treasures, one lot being obtained at Niagara, where the folios have re- mained for many years in a garret of a farm house. These precious documents have all been tabulated by Dr. Pierce, and in passing them over to Queen's University, he has done honor to his Alma Nater. An Eminent Figure.
