The Grand Theatre has a splendid to its patrons tomight, tomorrow af- ternoon and tomorrow night. Des- pite the fact that election excitement was high .on Thursday night, there was a fairly large crowd at the Grand Theatre and the applause that was accorded for the different vaude- ville' acts showed the appreciation felt. The vaudeville is the best that has ¢ome to the Grand this season and should please those who see it. There are four good acts on the programme, including the appear- ance of "Marjah." The feature picture, starring the ever-popular Johnny Hines, In "The Live Wire" is one of the best ple- tures that has been secured for a Kingston audience in a long time. Thrills are mixed with the fun and as a result the audience is able to get a real "kick" out of the picture. A Johnny Hines comedy is always a Jaugh provoker and his latest pie- ture, "The Live Wire," is no excep- tion. In connection with the vaudeville, it will be remembered that Marjah was in Kingston before and located the steamer Randall that went down off the Dueks. The mind-reading act is astonishing and is a big at- traction in itself. The management of the Grand anounces a reduction in the prices for the vaudeville and picture pro- grammes, The prices have been fited as follows: Orchestra, 36c; balcony, 28¢; 16c children's seats. AT THE CAPITOL. Thrills, Comedy and Romance In New Tom Mix Film. Thrills, comedy, romance with a capital R, lovely ladles and gorgeous sottings--that is what you will find in the latest Tom Mix release, "The Lucky Horseshoe," the William Fox prodtictipn which opeged at the Capitol theatre yesterday. It is something different in the way of westerns--a picture that adds a whimsical romance of old Spain in the days of the dashing Don Juan to the usual thrilling story of the cattle country in such a way as to make it seem a logical part of the whole. Tom Mix does some wonderful acting as well as some daredevil feats and wonderful riding in this pleture and is a tevelation as the dashing Don Juan. Others in the cast are such not- ablés as Amn Pennington, the "Fol- 1fes" star, as the favorite dancer of Spain, Billle Dove, Clarissa Selwyn, J. Gunnis Davis and Malcolm Waite, "June Roses face powder," Gib- son's. EXECUTORS NOTICE TO CREDITORS In the Battin SL Bridget Sagrin, .. Detéased.
