Also most of them are finding that they actually like Coke. 3 "My house has been more comfortable since I have changed from anthracite to coke than it was when I was burning hard coal," said one new-fuel adventurer. "It is particularly noticeable in the matter of getting the house warmed up in the morning. Under the old fuel very little change could be felt in the house for an hourdafter the drafts were turned on in the morning. Now we are breakfasting in a comfortable temperature in about that time." "My ash barrels are a revelation to me of the amount of waste I was paying for in the hard coal, so called, I used to burn," said another new coke user. "'At this time of the year I had at least a can and a half of ashes each week--and they were heavy at that, In the real cold weather I would have two and a half each week, some~ | times three. "80 fat this season I have had only about one can full of ashes in seven days--and they are materially lighter, can for can. In bulk' 1 am getting about two-thirds as much ash as I.did when I was burn. | ing anthracite and, while I have not weighed them, I figured I am only getting about half as much fn weight." i 3 -' "These are just some sample expressions of opinfon from a good many heard in regard to Coke. o .% James Swift & Co., Limited | Foot of Johnson Street.
