For the first time this season, the hockey fans will have the opportun- ity tonight to see the fair sex per- form on the blades when Queen's girls play an exhibition game with the Ottawa Rowing Club. The girls have certainly improved their class of 'hockey in the past few years so that now it is not so very far be- hind the standard of some of the men, about one of the best ladies' teams in Ontario and has yet to be defeated this season. The Tricolor girls are going strong this year and have great hopes of collecting the senior Intercollegiate championship. The game tonight is an exhibition fixture but the locals will try their hardest to open up the season with a victory. Ladies' hockey has been gaining popularity every season and it is ex- pected that the crowds this year will exceed those that witnessed the games last season. Tonight's attrac- tion will be about the best ladies' game of the séason and a large crowd is expected to be on hand to see the girls in dction.
