McRoberts, public school inspector for Muskoka, dripped dead on Wednesday while visiting a school just outside of: Bracebridge. He graduated at Queen's in 1916. The meeting of Calvary Men's Own was held last evening in the Sunday school hall, the president, Mr. R.-D. Sloan, being in the chair. There was a good attendance of the members and the ladies provided a fine supper of roasts, vegetables and delicious desserts. After the inner man was satisfied the chairs were pushed back and the pastor, Rev. F. Sanders, gave an interesting na- ture on common wild flowers illus- trated by thirty-five beautiful color- ed Blides. At the conclusion of the address hearty thanks were extend- ed to the speaker. Burial of a Sister. The funeral of the late Sister Mary Ignatius took place on Friday morning at ten o'clock, A solemn re- '| quiem mass was sung at the House of providence by the Most Rev. Archbishop Spratt, assisted by Fath- or Staley of Chesterville as deacon, Father Foley of Apple Hill as sub- deacon, and Father Coylé as master of ceremonies. The pall bearers were Vincent Fallon, John Sowards, Dr. L. Walsh, Thomas O'Connor, Charles Corrigan and Wiliam G. Bailey. The remains were interred in the nun's plot at St. Mary's ceme- tery. » Rev.
