The Elginburg and Latimer soft ball teams played at the Latimer Sunday school picnic, Friday. The Elginburg team were defeated. Mrs. John Porter is {ll at her son's, Fred's home. Marjorie and Florence McDonald, who haye been spending a week with thelr sister, Mrs. John Alexander, re- turned on Saturday, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Alexander, The two latter returned by boat from Brock- ville on Monday. Haying is held up for a time by the splendid ana much- needed rains. The local busses were crowded and over-crowded, on Mon- day, by people anxious to get to the circus at Brockville.
