The Conservative members increased from 51 fo 116. 2. The Liberal members dropped from 117 to 101: 3. The Progressive members dwindled from 65 to 24. 4. The Conservatives gained in 8 out of the 9 provinces. 2 3. The Progressives lost in every Province where, they had any members to lose. The total Conservative vote rose from 945,671 in 1921 to 1,484,318 in 1925, the Conservative vote in the Province of Quebec alone increasing by 123,311. There is no chance of a Liberal majority. The choice is between - 1. A Conservative Government with 'a good working majority; now almost attained; . : : OR - " 2. A temporary combination of Liberals, Progressives, Independents, Socialists, etc, such as we had in the last two Parliaments. The Conservatives need only 7 more to give them a majority over all - Make sure of stable Government and avoid another election.
