At Woodstock, Ont., on Wednes- day, before Judge Wallace, Alexan- der Green, who served time in the penitentiary, was allowed to go on suspended sentence on a charge of causing grievous bodily harm to Constable Moore. He was drunk at the time, but was told by the Court that was no excuse, and was promised a two-year term in the penitentiary if found drunk again.
