Don't miss it! How does it go? Well three dames win a popularity contest or somethin: and get a trip to Monte Carlo. An you should see these three frails Trixie Friganza is one of them an she's working in a garage carrying flivvers around by one leg when sh: gets news. ZaSu Pitts, gee ain't she sad? She's another one and she's = dressmaker and Gertrude Olmsted she's a school teacher and you'd never know Gertrude at the beginn' ng. She's beautiful but in the first part of the film she looks like something that came with the groceries. Well, anyway, they got to Monis Carlo and Gertrude meets Lew Cod: all done up like a Prince. Everybeds thinks he is a prince, he's got all the uniforms and everything, even the guy that shoots him for a noble cause or sbme other reason. Oh yes, then the fashion show. That's where¥Gertrude gets all pretticd up and what I mean she looks like a iillion dollars. She's Miss America at the fashion Show and it's some fash- ion show. I never seen such clothes in all my life, not even at the Emporium, It's all done in colors. Gee it's pretty. Now where was I? Oh yes, Lew T'ce never seen him in anything like this before. He's always been kind of a mean guy, you know. the kind that breaks up homes and things like that. But he's really funny in this. They got the funniest bunch of pecple I ever saw in my life in this show. Remember Trixie Friganza in Vaudeville? 'And Trixie Friganza falls in love with a duke only he ain't a duke at all, and ZaSu Pitts falls for a count and he-ain't a count neither. It's some picture, I got an ache from laughing. If you're going, I'll go with you, I wanna see it again, There are only 37,632 men who know just how to run the world, and all of them are busy whittling. -- Mr GEO. King, of Edmonton, Alta., who is supervisor o: milk yield and tester of butter fat, under the employ of the Federal Gov- ernment Live Stock Branch at Ottawz. Mr King who is on his way east to inspect the dairy cattle at the In- dustrial Farm, Fort William, spent the weekend with Mr and Mrs Dawkins, and was much impressed with the fine herd at Grandview Dairy. During the next eighteen months, the Grandview herd will be under super- vision of the cost of which will be borne by the Government. A certificate will be issued after each cow has completed the test period and each cow must give 12,000 pounds of milk and 408 pounds of butter fat in 365 days to be eligible for this test. Mr Dawkins is quite confident that each of his cows will exceed this amount by at least 2,000 pounds oi milk and 80 pounds of butter fat. ------ Mary Edith, infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Taylor, of Dyment, died at the family residence on Thursday last week, The little baby who was only eight months old, suddenly took ill, and passed away before medical aid could be summoned.
