Finlayson and Hon. Charles McCrea, that development work in the North was to be continued as Provineial finances permitted. They applied the announcement that work on the Traus- Canada highway was to be pushed to completion, to continue the gradual linking of Northern Ontario municipal- ities with good highways and the an- nouncement by Mr Finlayson of the intention next season to beud particu- lar efforts to road-building in North- ern Ontario centering on Port Arthur and Fort William. Mr Finlayson announced the shift- ing next season of road building efforts to the North West, where Port Arthur and Fort William were to be connected with Fort Frances and other outlying municipalities.--News-Chronicle.
