B. Greeley, chief of the forest service in Washington, was enthusiastic over the screening of Harold Titus' famous novel, "Timber." In fact he so appre- ciated the value of such a picture as "Hearts Aflame" as a stimulus to right and : America's chief problems--re-foresta- tion-~that he wrote to Louis B. Mayer, the producer of the picture, concern- ing it. He was standing by the open bedroom window fixing some- thing to keep out the rain when a flash came which hurled him to the floor and rendered him speechless fo the time. Dr. Henry was wired for.
