iE DRYDEN OBSERVER Hocky Results. On last Saturday night the 'Midgets' played the 'Milk Maids' their first game of the season. The 'Midgets' won--never mind the score. The fact ere Orel ens Gree oe Everything a little cheaper than you would expect. --0--0--0--0--0--0-- ~every afternoon from 2 to 4. o> p Children, Poosday and Thu ED ARES G2 is everybody went home satisfied, both players and spectators. In the first period after many spills and easy let- downs, one of the Milk Maids lost control of her skates, and in taking her dive, happened to pick on Ken Kerney for a cushion. Poor Ken, the spectators expected to see him lengthened abount four inches. But it's hard to put a bad un out of com- mission. Another Maid got excited and put her arms around Gordon Campbell. She says she was falling, Gordon says she was squeezing him. Use your own judgement spectators. Another of the Maids was in a scrimage for the puck and lost her stick, Forgetting all about the stick, she started after Mike, who had the puck. I guess Mike did not know whether he was going to get crowned, sat on, or squeezed. One of the Maids got the puck and worked her way right up to the goal mouth, and then changeh her mind and sat down. Mike was the out standing stare of the game, getting most of the goals for his side. After the game he was signed up by the Juveniles, another step in the advancement of hockey. Jack Skillen refereed the game, and to show he was impartial, both teams have asked his to referee their next game, on Saturday night at 7 o'clock. An admission of 10c., and 20c., will be charged. Last Friday night the White Mules and Juniors played what turned out to be one of the best and most ex local Amphitheatre. The White ule defeating the Juniors 3--2. the score would indicate, were evenly matched, as hand picked.
