Durfey of Osaquan, was charged with assault, J causing grevous bodily harm to George Leach, at Osaquan on the first of June. A further charge of assault was laid against the accused, that on April fourth that he did assault Robert Mur- ray, causing actual bodily harm. By advice of his Counsel the accuesd 1 elected to be tried by jury, and offered no defence at the preliminary hearing.
