Collison, Publi her LETTER TO THE EDITOR Dear Madam :-- IT am back from being a guest of the government at Hotel Du Nord, Kenora. I assure all my friends that T appreciate the ac- tion of the irresponsible goveri- ment pets very much, I did not believe that it was possible that the government "would ever show it's apprecii- tion to any of us pioneers that have helped to build this = un- try and made it what it is, an are still improving and protecr- ing it, by doing things as it ought to be done at the proper time. I was only protecting a ~ few hundred acres of govern- ment timber, not my own, from possible destruction by fire, and for only a small fire like that the government insisted on my Leing their guest for a month, which, anyone that knows me, can readily .see is a far greater favor than 1 deserve from any government. I am now very much invigor- ated, ready to again do my duty as a man to my neighbor and my country, as I in my humble way see it, until the government wishes me as their guest again. , Yours very truly, Swan Swanson Tenders Wanted Tenders will be received by the undersigned until Monday, July 20th for the construction of a frame school building for S. 8.
